The Raleigh Chopper is a wheelie bike made for children or young adults and marketed from the 1960s to 2005 by the Raleigh Company of Nottingham.its unique design became a cultural icon, featured in many tv shows and films, including The Goonies. The MK1 model was produced from 1968 to 1972 and is by far the most desirable.

This particular example is highly original, complete and fully operational. Finished in Brilliant Orange with a black saddle and white strap. Feature the console mounted Archer-Sturmey 3 speed selector.

In the 1970’s the MK1 was branded as ‘The Hot One’ selling millions over the years and cementing its place as a core memory for so many children that are now adults.
