The Toyota Corolla E20 SL Coupe was the second generation of cars sold by Toyota under the Corolla nameplate. The second generation models launched in May 1970 and had "coke bottle styling". Most models stopped production in July 1974.

Here we have a truly unique vehicle. Purchased new, in 1973, from a Toyota dealer in High Wycombe the lady owner serviced and MOT’d the car with that same dealer throughout her ownership. Covering less than 200 miles per year. In 1982 it was bought by a private museum and kept until the present day.

Finished in a beautiful shade of orange this SL coupe presents beautifully in its original paintwork, the black vinyl interior is as new, the chrome , wheels and trim are all as they should be. Timewarp is a description given to many classics but never has it been more apt than here!

The 1200cc engine starts on the first turn of the key, its manual gearbox is light and smooth. Everything from the original stereo to the wipers work as they should.

The car is offered for sale with its original bill of sale, pre-1982 logbook showing no previous owners, owners manual, stamped service book and MOTS together with invoices. Original jack and toolkit are also unused and present. The original keyfob is present as is a Toyota branded tissue from 1973.

One of a kind and never to be repeated, we doubt there is another example with this provenance and mileage anywhere in the world.
