Here we have a collector grade classic 2005 Smart Roadster Convertible with only 3705 miles from new and the V5 showing one former keeper. Only 93 of these remain on UK roads so they are rare and becoming much sought after. It has factory AC and is a completely correct example.

This is the more powerful 80ps engine which is ULEZ friendly and offers a sporty drive whenever the mood takes you. Drive in auto or with a clutchless manual set up it is great fun and always an occasion. Economical and involving these were very popular when new and were only made for three years between 2002 and 2005.

The service history shows the sportscar having been PDI'd by Smart in Wigmore street Mayfair. From then it seems Robinsons of Cambridge supplied the car and maintained it, we have a total of ten stamps in the book with sundry invoices. This pristine example really does present as a nearly new car, the black paintwork is immaculate, the silver Tridian safety cell is a very nice contrast. The original alloy wheels are mint and shod in premium matching tyres all round. The soft top is as new and all the glass and lenses free from wear and tear. It even carries the original dealer number plates.

The interior presents like a time capsule, the cloth seats are firm and free from wear, the plastics are all correct, the CD holders are all present too. Smart branded overmats rest on excellent original carpets. Lift the passenger side carpet and original tools etc are all as they should be. The boot houses the original Smart carry bag, hazard warning and book pack. All manuals, service books and spare keys with original keyfobs can seen.

Everything works as it should including the electric roof, the AC has been refreshed and blows ice cold, the factory audio is as it should be and all other electrics are working correctly. It comes with its original keys which operate the central locking and boot release, even the keyfobs are from the supplying dealer.

This example is as near to a new car as you will find considering its twenty year age. We think its the best example in the UK.
